Compasso d'Oro mention: MA.DE and Brilliant
The surfaces in Iris Ceramica's MA.DE and Brilliant collections merited a mention for the Compasso d'Oro Awards, and are exhibited in the 21st ADI Compasso d'Oro exhibition in Turin's Reggia di Venaria Reale, the royal hunting palace.
Rewarding product aesthetics: this the idea that inspired Gio Ponti, in collaboration with La Rinascente and the Industrial Design Association, to establish the Compasso d'Oro Award selecting the best products of italian design every year since 1964.
MA.DE and Brilliant have achieved this important new milestone following their inclusion in the ADI Design Index and will be on exhibit until August 31 2008 along with the other products mentioned for the awards at Turin's Reggia della Venaria Reale.
All the award-winning products and items selected for the awards will become a part of ADI's Historical Compasso d'Oro Award Collection, a national heritage item since 2004, and the Register of Donors of the Award's Historic Collection.
