Iris Ceramica is present at Cersaie 2015 with a preview of 4 new collections for walls and floors, which update the sizes and colours of traditional materials to offer new design possibilities to the world of interior design.
Cersaie 2015, from 28th September to the 2nd October, will host new products from IRIS CERAMICA, which this year reinforces its range of more traditional products by reinterpreting classic materials and fabrics with innovative sizes and new decorations and colours. The number of colour variations grows and the shades are more sophisticated, together with decorative elements and workmanship that explore artisan skill and translate it into a contemporary, high tech product where great attention is paid to detail.
Glass, with its reflections and shades, inspires the SLIDE wall tile collection, available in the 60x20 size. The colour palette based on warm, elegant shades exalts the material nature of these surfaces while the shiny finish gives life to an intriguing interplay of light, emphasised by the possibility of adding ton sur ton decorative elements.
A more distinctive and decisive mood characterises the new floor collection BLOCKS 5.0 which, thanks to special treatments and advanced technology, gives the materials that ‘lived in’ touch that only the passage of time and use can create. It is an ever-changing designer collection, created not only for homes but also for all those spaces that need a high level of customisation and recognisability.
AURA, the new collection of wall tiles, presented in a single 10x30 size, is the result of an art project with an artisan flavour: the details present in each single piece make the project unique and inimitable. Neutral shades that recall the colours of the earth cover the walls with elegant, discrete style, creating warm and reassuring atmospheres.
Fine velvet, the undisputed protagonist of A/W 2015-16 fashion, has inspired the SYNC collection, which chooses the shades and light contrasts of this noble fabric for a range of tiles that plays with contemporary prints and striking decorative patterns. With SYNC the natural material conveys its whole expressive potential, transmitting a tactile and visual pleasure that defines the space and reflects the personality of those who inhabit it.
Previewed exclusively in the US in April the 10x30 size of the MAIOLICA collection now arrives on the Italian and European market. It increases the versatility of the product and guarantees the utmost freedom in composition. The new size combined with artistic and contemporary decorative elements offers original living solutions in a perfect balance of tradition and modernity.
