SPAZIOFMGPERL’ARCHITETTURA opens its doors to an exhibition/event dedicated to the NEXT LANDMARK international architecture contest, which invites professionals and non-professionals from the world of architecture and photography to experiment with new creative processes to create new scenarios for urban planning.
On 6th October 2015 SPAZIOFMG, the Iris-Fmg Group exhibition space, will host the award ceremony and the exhibition/event dedicated to the finalist designs in the international NEXT LANDMARK contest, which ended on 12th September 2015. This international online contest, now in its 4th year, involved 165 participants this year, including architects, urban planners, designers and photographers from all over the world, with the aim of valorising important projects for future architectural design.
Promoted by the Floornature architecture portal and created in partnership with the Honours Degree Courses in Integrated Communication and Design at the IUSVE and with a new international partnership with the Faculty of Architecture at the Estonian Academy of Arts, Tallin University, Next Landmark has 3 sections: first works, research and photography.
An exceptional international jury, made up of Volker Halbach, Olga Aleksanova, Veronika Valk, Federica Minozzi, Luca Molinari, Angelo Maggi and Paolo Schianchi, chose 10 final designs per category, which can be seen online at the official contest website http://contest.floornature.com, by assessing the candidate’s interpretative ability, technical content and creativity.
On 6th October 2015 at SpazioFMG, in the presence of the jury, the names of the winners will be officially announced to the public. To coincide with Expo 2015, they will win a 4-day stay in Milano and free entry to the Universal Exhibition.
SPAZIOFMG is proud to have been chosen as a platform for this international award ceremony, which offers visibility and professional opportunities to new generations of architects and photographers, providing the public with new stimuli for reflecting on the theme of contemporary living.
