The 2021 edition of Sicam, the International Exhibition of Components, Semi-finished Products and Accessories for the Furniture Industry, held from 12 to 15 October 2021, in Pordenone, ended with impressive visitor numbers.
Iris Ceramica, FMG and SapienStone, presented the latest technical porcelain stoneware solutions for furnishing and interior design. Beautiful, high-performing technical surfaces were used to create the various settings at the stand: kitchen, bathroom, reception area and a wall set up with cubes to enhance the beauty, variety of colours and marble patterns of the materials.
The central feature of the stand was a large island kitchen with built-in table, with top in Seminato Nero full body 12 mm by SapienStone, combined with a base covered in Statuario Delicato 6 mm from the Marmi MaxFine collection by FMG, which was also used to create an elegant pantry unit with fitted appliances. A combination of different thicknesses, colours, finishes and inspirations, offering designers tailored, reliable, lasting solutions with unmatchable beauty.
At the stand, Iris Ceramica starred with Luce, the new interpretation of ceramic surfaces with an extraordinary 3D effect, by Guillermo Mariotto. A collection that goes beyond the mere concept of coverings, giving technical ceramics the brightness of precious fabrics and the sophistication of hand-crafted tailoring. The 100x100 cm format and six neutral shades - Pearl, Black, Blue, Gold, Silver and Grey - underlined the dynamic appeal and depth of the texture. Among the new entries distributed by Iris Ceramica, the innovative concealed capacitive technology Hypertouch. Patented by Iris Ceramica Group, Hypertouch uses an integrated system of automated sensors to control lighting, audio-video systems, windows and temperature simply by touching or lightly pressing the surface.
With its continuous aesthetic research and the study of pioneering technologies, Iris Ceramica has offered solutions that confirm the unmatchable value of ceramics in the creation of the most ambitious design concepts.
