Hotel Monte Sarago, a former factory built in the 1940s that looks out over Ostuni’s picturesque old town, has recently been expanded to include 30 new rooms.
The architect Domenico Sasso, who oversaw the project, decided to tile the rooms with Avenue XXL Silver in the 100x100cm format. The texture, which recreates the effect of concrete and resin, blends seamlessly into this setting and fits in with the industrial nature of the original building and the colors of the surrounding landscape.
The rational style and clean look of Avenue XXL are combined with the superlative technical performance of porcelain stoneware by Iris Ceramica, which is resistant, non-absorbent, easy to clean and durable: all these features are essential in high-traffic areas, such as in hospitality settings.
