OUT OF THIS WORLD is the concept inspiring the partnership between Iris Ceramica
and Diesel Living again this year. Exclusively at Milano Design Week 2018, five new
collections revolutionise the range for interior design, offering original suggestions
for high-end hospitality and contract projects.
Iris Ceramica, a leading maker of high-end porcelain floor and wall coverings, and
international lifestyle brand Diesel Living, directed by Andrea Rosso, partner of
prestigious brands such as Foscarini, Moroso, Scavolini, Seletti, Berti and Mirabello
Carrara, continue their successful partnership.
After investigating and interpreting metropolitan style and the arid desert landscapes
of Arizona, the partners continue their travels, heading south in search of new
inspiration. This time they go to Mexico, a land with a wealth of culture and traditions, where
different styles come together to offer a landscape of fascinating natural and
architectural contrasts and new perspectives.
This year Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica explores a world suspended between the
past and the present, between the analogical and the digital, a land of strong colours
and bold personality.
The result is Glass Blocks, Synthetic Tape, Synthetic Studs, Metal Perf and Cement
Mexican: glass, cement and metal provide the sources of inspiration, interacting and
blending in a new vision of urban living. Five product lines celebrate the technical
potential of ceramics, which, thanks to Iris Ceramica’s R&D department, once again
faithfully interprets the creative input of the Diesel team, in an original collection
outside the box.
The new range is completed with an addition to the range consisting of one of the
bestselling collections created under the partnership, Grunge Concrete.
Launched in 2017, the line has now been expanded with the introduction of large
sizes, permitting the surfaces to be used to create items of furniture as well as their
traditional applications covering floors and walls. The effect of scratched cement finds
its utmost expression in the 300x150 cm size, becoming a true item of furniture.
A cool, ironic vision of architecture inspires the Diesel Living 2018 project for the
contract industry and high-end hospitality. An eclectic range with a bold stylistic
identity to amaze and revolutionise, intercepting a curious public aware of the
importance of design and new developments in the sector.
The 2018 Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica range will be on view in a preview at the
“Out of This World Hotel” stand by Diesel Living (Hall 16 - Stand A35/B2) at the
57th edition of the Salone del Mobile in Milan.
Visitors to Fuorisalone will be offered an immersive experience of the Diesel Living
project in the Pop Up Home at Via Cesare Correnti 14, in the 5vie district.
The space will be open to visitors from 10 a.m to 7.30 p.m every day.
