SPAZIOFMGPERL’ARCHITETTURA meets SWA, South West Architecture, and presents the successful Qatar-based studio's projects, offering an overview of the process of growth and transformation of the Emirate.

Always interested in new developments in architectural innovation all over the world, SPAZIOFMG per l’architettura will host a talk with SWA, South West Architecture, an important consulting firm specialising in integrated design based in Doha, on June 18 at 6.30 PM
The event focuses on SWA's projects in Qatar and their important contribution to creating the capital city's new skyline of skyscrapers.

The principal theme of the talk will be the prestigious Falcon Tower project: a 25 floor hotel currently under construction in Doha's West Bay district.
The project is the result of an east/west partnership in which SWA works with one of Europe's most prominent design studies and with FMG Fabbrica Marmi e Graniti, Italy's leading maker of porcelain and technical ceramics, who made the indoor and outdoor coverings and flooring for the building.
The impressive glass and steel structure is enclosed by a ventilated porcelain facade made by FMG, made up of more than 15000 sqm of tiles. Numerous special pieces were also made, in collaboration with Iris Ceramica's product development laboratory, including 15,000 theme tiles depicting Qatari traditions and customs.

The Falcon Tower, along with SWA's recent projects such as the Al Jassimiya Tower and the Viva Bahriya 2 Tower, are indicators of the great time of historic change in Qatar, which has seen an unstoppable real estate boom since it was awarded the 2022 Football World Cup.
SPAZIOFMG offers the public an interesting talk with one of the most influential studios in the growth of the emirate which is about to become one of the most important financial centres in the Middle East.
