Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica arrives at the MAE in Castellón with a dedicated space

The Castellón showroom will house 7 new high tech porcelain wall and floor tiles,
together with the first 5 collections of 2016 inspired by the industrial and urban world.

Scratched concrete, cracks, sheet metal, worn metals, tinted glass and exotic echoes of roads and deserts that fade gradually into the distance. These are just some of the suggestions that have emerged from the renewed partnership between Iris Ceramica and Diesel Living and that will soon see the opening of a new Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica corner in the Castellón showroom. International reference points for 100% made in Italy Italian porcelain tiles and lifestyle, Iris Ceramica and Diesel Living have joined forces in a unique, new creative project. The Castellón showroom will house 7 new high tech porcelain wall and floor tiles, recently presented in an exclusive preview at the Milan Design Week, together with the first 5 collections of 2016 inspired by the industrial and urban world (Solid Concrete, Industrial Glass, Camp, Stage and Hard Leather).

In the new Diesel Living with Iris Ceramica collections, the strong identity of the Diesel brand is an energy that flows into pure imagination, in an iconic mix of materials worn and changed by the incessant action of time, in abandoned structures that have been reborn in other forms, permeated by exotic and cinematographic landscapes (like the Arizona desert or the Grand Canyon). Iris Ceramica translates these Diesel style influences into patterns and effects, in the atmospheric colour palette of the 7 new collections: Arizona Concrete, Ribbed Oxide, Shades of Blinds, Fence, Grunge Concrete, Ribbed and Combustion. The potential of high-tech porcelain and Iris Ceramica’s decades of know-how create an aesthetic that increases the perspectives of modern living, aimed at a “more demanding and creative” target consumer. It also offers “a wide alternative range of solutions for the contract sector”. This new design step brings out the features of porcelain and its original visual and tactile qualities even more. The versatility of the best material for contemporary wall and floor tiles brings the whole concept of Diesel lifestyle to home interior design, in a constant, daily dialogue between wood and stone, glass and cement, time and light and heat.
